During the recent BI‑Annual Meeting of Porto Protocol – an online gathering where members reviewed the achievements of the first half of 2026, discussed the outcomes of collective work and received updates on ongoing sustainability projects – the organisation announced a landmark event: the inaugural Porto Protocol Community Day, to be held on 14 November 2026 at Fattoria La Maliosa in Tuscany.
The meeting, opened by Founder and CEO Adrian Bridge and led by coordinators Marta Mendonça and Cristina Crava, highlighted the community’s major accomplishments:
Against this backdrop, the announcement of Community Day stood out as one of the key highlights of the meeting.
Fattoria La Maliosa – recognised this season within the Wine Travel Awards for its progressive sustainable practices and celebrated alongside fellow WTA winners Spier Wine Farm and Tablas Creek Vineyard – will welcome Porto Protocol members from around the world for a day dedicated to knowledge exchange, presentations of regenerative and ecological solutions, tastings and collaborative discussions on the future of sustainable winegrowing.
The event will serve as a practical continuation of the themes raised during the BI‑Annual Meeting, reinforcing Porto Protocol’s commitment to strengthening its global community and expanding hands‑on dialogue around climate resilience in wine.
