For the second year in a row we maintain a tradition of fruitful cooperation with one of the most influential international wine events, the London Wine Fair, the Official Exhibition Partner of the Wine Travel Awards (WTA).
Taking place at Olympia on 15-17 May 2023, the fair’s program will be full of inspirational masterclasses and tastings, a huge range of wines to taste from around the world. This is a door to an abundance of networking opportunities taking place in person as well as on the fair’s intuitive digital platform.
During the three days of the exhibition, the Drinks+ and WTA team will present their innovative project in the field of wine tourism, its community and wines at their own stand L49. We are also glad to organize one of the brightest LWF events – The Wine Travel Awards Ceremony and Walk-Around Tasting – which will take place on 17 May 2023 at 10.30 AM -12.30 PM in the Industry Briefing Room at the London Wine Fair (Olympia London).
During our event, the winners of the Wine Travel Awards 2022-2023 will be revealed officially in the following nominations:
In the framework of the event, the Drinks+ and Wine Travel Awards team organizes a walk-around tasting of wines produced by the WTA nominees and partners. The Consortium Asti DOCG, a sponsor of the WTA Ceremony, will provide welcome wine for guests of the official Wine Travel Awards Ceremony.
The exhibition is already approaching and we also would like to share its program highlighting the master classes held by our partners.
Sarah Abbott MW, the WTA judge, Founder and Director of Swirl Wine Group, marketing strategist, communicator, wine writer will speak at a few master classes at the LWF:
At the ASTI DOCG – FEEL THE VIBE master class, Walter Speller, Italy Editor at JancisRobinson.com, will talk about the Asti Spumante and Moscato d’Asti DOCG wines and interpretations of the same grape variety Moscato Bianco. These grapes are grown on the limestone soils of the UNESCO World Heritage hills between Asti, Alessandria and Cuneo in Piedmont. Every vibe starts here.
