Ronan Sayburn MS, CEO of The Court of Master Sommeliers Europe, will organize and host The Judgment of London at the London Wine Fair 2024. “This will be a reconstruction of the Judgment of Paris of 1976”, when the producers of Bordeaux and California competed with each other. And, as it is known, according to the result of the blind tasting, the wines of California won. The Judgment of Paris was organized by Steven Spurrier, a British wine expert, writer, educator, winemaker and trader. In 2019, Drinks+ editor-in-chief Olga Pinevich-Todoriuk was lucky enough to have had an exclusive interview with this legendary man.
At The Judgment of London, the best Bordeaux and New World estates will compete in blind tastings.
