Я підтверджую, що мені, на жаль, давно виповнилося 18 роківOn September 26, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., a charity evening, organized by Solomiia Begun, President of the Association Paris-Ukraine Île-de-France, will be held in Paris. The main goal of the event is to raise funds for the affected population of the Kyiv region, who lost their homes as a result of the full-scale Russian war.
Solomiia Begun is a journalist, brand ambassador of Château de la Mothe-Chandeniers (France, Loire Valley). She heads the branch of the European historical real estate agency VIP CASTLE (castles and palaces for sale and for rent) in Ukraine. Solomiia is a member of the team of the world’s first project to revive castles and turn them into unique objects of the international level World Castles Ambassadors (WCA). Being an expert on Michelin restaurants and the founder of The World in My Lens company, Solomiya has visited 46 countries, has a lot of travel experience and is currently doing it professionally. In 2021-2022, Solomiia Begun was a participant of the Wine Travel Awards in several nominations at once and became the leader of the public vote in the Ambassador nomination, category “Ambassador of the year” and in the Wine & Food Influencer nomination, category “Author of the year”.

On September 26, Solomiia Begun organizes a charity evening dedicated to Ukraine in Paris. The purpose of the event is to put the full-scale war unleashed by russia in Ukraine on the agenda and to raise funds for the affected population who lost their homes as a result of Russian aggression in the city of Borodianka and the village of Moshchun, Bucha district, as well as to promote Ukrainian cuisine in the world – to once again draw attention to our country.

Solomiia makes all her presentations, including those dedicated to the cities of Ukraine that suffered in the war, with her own elegance, daintiness and attention to every detail. Among the guests of the event, there will be ambassadors, ministers, famous artists, businessmen and politicians, including Gérard Larcher, Head of the French Senate; Sébastien Lecornu, Minister of the Armed Forces of France; Florence Parly, Minister of Defense of France; mayors.

The program of the evening will include a dinner, an auction, a show of a collection by a Ukrainian designer, a concert by Ukrainian composer and pianist Yevhen Khmara and Ukrainian singer Victoria Buleeva (Victory Ann); an exhibition of authentic Ukrainian vintage clothing from a private collection; exhibition of contemporary artist Oleksandra Fedoruk; exhibition of the famous artist Marcos Marin from Monaco.

By the way, the best Ukrainian chefs – Eugen Korolev (president of Bocuse d`Or Ukraine), Ihor Lavreshyn, Vitalii Huralevych, Vyacheslav Popkov – will prepare Ukrainian dishes from unique ingredients according to ancient recipes for this charity dinner.

The food pairing will be complemented by the wines of the famous Ukrainian winery SHABO, as well as one of the French producers.

The SHABO winery was also nominated for the Wine Travel Awards and became the leader of the public vote in the nomination The Visiting Card of the Country, category “Must visit”. At the final Wine Travel Awards 2021-2022 ceremony held at the London Wine Fair, SHABO presented its wines during a walk-around tasting together with other members of the WTA community. “During its 17-year history, the brand managed to radically change the attitude of Ukrainians themselves and the world community to Ukrainian wines”, says about SHABO Nataliia Blahopoluchna, President of the All-Ukrainian Association of Winemakers and Sommeliers, founder of the First Sommelier School in Ukraine “Master Class”, the WTA winner of the awards’ first year in the Education in Enotourism nomination, category “Unique program”.
The venue of the charity evening is Le Pavillon Dauphine Saint Clair. The price of the ticket is 200 euros.
Funds from the event will be donated to the Yuriy Teslenko’s Charitable Foundation “Nova Borodyanka” for the construction of the “Stork’s Nest” residential complex, as well as to the residents of the village of Moshchun, Bucha district.
